Job Title: Senior Quality Assurance and Quality Control Specialist
Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Summary
- The Senior Quality Assurance and Quality Control Specialist will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards and specifications across all project phases.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting materials, processes, and completed works, identifying non-conformities, and implementing corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Ensure in-process and final inspection, and the release of all completed jobs in the base.
- Liaise with the tendering unit to ensure adequate input in all tenders emanating from the company.
- Support customer tender verification visits and other site inspections.
- Supervise the use of all relevant forms in Machine Shop, CTR, Fishing, and Wire line.
- Responsible for 3rd party equipment verification before mobilization.
- Ensure technicians carry out service in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer’s manual and international standards.
- Control the use of all testing, measuring, monitoring, and detection equipment.
- Ensure the company’s Quality Management System is maintained and report non-conformance to the QHSE Lead WCD.
- Responsible for developing, reviewing, implementing, and maintenance of QMS documentation in accordance with ISO 9001:2015, API Spec Q1, API Spec 5B, and API Spec 7-2.
- Carry out internal & supplier audits and follow up to close out.
- Ensure professional documentation of NCRs and timely closeout of the same.
- Liaise with the Customer representatives to ensure requirements are met.
- Ensure proper housekeeping at all times in the base.
- Carry out any other duties as may be assigned by QHSE Lead WCD.
- Audit work being performed with “Safe Work Permit”
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree in Environmental Science, Management or Engineering Field.
- Minimum of five (5) years of Oil and Gas Quality Management System experience; Welding inspection experience is an advantage.
- Certified ISO 9001:2015 QMS Internal Auditor.
- Strong excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proven track record of team builder with good communication skills and a capacity to engage audiences across all levels.
- Experience in the Power, Energy, Oil & Gas, Engineering and Electrical, sectors is highly desirable.
