About the 2025 ECOSOC Youth Forum
Scheduled to take place from April 15-17, 2025, at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City, USA, this forum will align with the 2025 High-Level Political Forum (HLPF). Discussions will center on advancing inclusive, science-driven, and evidence-based solutions to accelerate progress on the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), ensuring that no one is left behind.
Fully Funded Participation Opportunity
The UN Youth Office will select and sponsor 15 young leaders to attend the forum in person. Those chosen will have the opportunity to:
- Engage directly with policymakers and influential decision-makers.
- Present innovative solutions to pressing global challenges.
- Youth employment solutions
- Network with like-minded youth advocates from diverse regions.
- Influence international policies aimed at accelerating sustainable development.
- Play a key role in driving meaningful change within and beyond the UN system.
Who Can Apply?
This opportunity is open to young people aged 18-35 from all regions. The selection process will be managed by the UN Youth Office in collaboration with partners, ensuring diversity in terms of gender, geographical representation, and the inclusion of underrepresented youth groups.
