The Leventis Foundation Nigeria is a charitable organization dedicated to empowering youths and farmers through training in modern, sustainable agricultural practices and the responsible use of natural resources.
Since its inception in 1987, the Foundation has been at the forefront of agricultural training, with six agricultural training schools strategically established across different agro-ecological zones in Nigeria.
These schools, located in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Osun, Kano, and Gombe states, are co-funded by the Leventis Foundation and the respective State Governments.
The schools provide comprehensive one-year training programs designed for young men and women passionate about building rewarding careers in farming and agribusiness. Participants gain hands-on experience across diverse areas of agriculture, agricultural value chains, and farm enterprises.

ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS for Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training Program 2025
Applicants should fulfill the following conditions among others:
- Aged between 18 and 40 years old.
- Have a desire to make a career in agriculture
- Be physically fit.
- Ability to read and write in English
- Must have completed secondary education

About Leventis Foundation Agricultural Training Program 2025:
The School is located in Yaba town in Abaji Area Council of the FCT, about 101km from Abuja City gate, the Federal Capital Territory. It lies on the southern fringes of the guinea savannah belt with an annual rainfall of between 1000 and 1200mm, allowing for a mono-modal rain-fed cropping season from May to October.
The School has about 50 hectares arable land with adequate room for expansion in the near future. The dominant crops include; maize, soybean, groundnut, benni seed (Sesame seed), melon, cassava and yam.
